Jaz Catchcan baffled?????

well the R is taken apart waiting on the turbo install, and i'm getting everything ready...

I have a jaz can that i thought worked nicely with the charger, but the intake manifold had some oil in it, (when rubbing my fingers in there) I was wondering should i continue to use the jaz can or try something else, if so what should i use?

i heard some people say its baffled, others say no, should i take it apart and inspect it or does anyone know?

I'm 99% sure it's not baffled. That's why most people don't use it for a closed loop system, they just replace the PCV w/ a barb fitting and go to the catch can and vent to the atmosphere. Were you using the Jazz in a closed loop system? I don't see how that would work with the filter on top. If you were running an open loop system there would be no way to get oil into the intake.

well aslong as i'm not getting any blowby, (oil) in the intake charge, then i leave it alone,

Lets see if i got it, closed loop catchs blowby in the can,
and open loop sends all blowby oil, fumes in the atmosphere????

So basically the do what they are intended to do, keep the intake charge clean, and cool.

Correctomundo. And you must have a baffled can to do the closed loop system.

I'm using a close loop catch can system with Moroso..works great.
